Infinite Tower

Club Penguin Journey

Tips & Best Items

Tips

There are two types of environments in the tower: indoor and outdoor rooms. If you are grinding for treasure or aiming for the highest score, aim for the outdoor rooms. If you are aiming for artifacts, be sure to try to stay in the indoor rooms.

Indoor Rooms vs Outdoor Rooms

"Alternate" Shooting

Running out of ammo will most likely occur during playthrough. To optimize the cooldowns and regenerate ammo when you don't have any, alternate between firing one elemental type (such as fire) and another (such as snow), switching after each shot. By alternating, ammo is able to regenerate and you are able to keep shooting at a fast rate.

Skipping Mobs

There are many rooms (both outdoor and indoor) where you may encounter a low number of mobs. In this case, it's more optimal to head straight to the exit rather than losing health over a few mobs. Here is one example of a skippable room:

Finding The Shortest Route

In the maze rooms, the best idea is to get out of the room as fast as you can. Try to find the shortest route out of the room.

Using the image from above as an example, the best route out of this room is as shown here. There is only one barrier and one trap door. Note: In earlier levels, the trap doors don't trigger as much.

Aim For Groups

Aim for groups of enemies instead of individual enemies, as there's an occasional splash damage.

Here there are two snow minions next to each other. If you aim a fireball in between them, they both take damage. Less shots means you can go to the next room faster.

Best Items

Welding Mask

The welding mask is a PRIORITY item. Damage increases by one every time you enter a new room, so you can hit minions for insanely high damage once it peaks. We recommend picking this item up in every run that you can and pairing it with the rubber ducky.

Here is a video of this in action:

Infinite Pizza

You are probably confused as to why I am mentioning this item. If you read the description it says:

Doesn't sound very good right? The thing is, this item has a secret.

This is the only healing item in the whole tower.

You will heal for ~8% of your health at a time. If you are low on health, we recommend picking this item up.

Duck Floatie

This item pushes enemies that you walk past. With the item equipped, you can speed past multiple levels without having to worry about taking minion damage. We recommend pairing this item with the Welding Mask.

Life Ring

This item gives an extra 4 to 5 shields. If you can't pick up the rubber ducky (or want extra protection), we recommend pairing this item.

Magic O'Berry

This item allows your puffle to dig for items while you run the tower. A puffle can dig for puffle treasure or artifacts if equipped, meaning it is very useful.

There's also the added bonus that if you leave the tower with this item, you can get a +1 level on your puffle! (This is bugged right now, but the description states this so just wait till it's fixed.)
