Defeating Sensei
After completing your Fire Suit, you will now need to defeat Sensei in a game of Card-Jitsu Fire to receive the Fire Gem for your amulet and become a Fire Ninja.
To play against Sensei, talk to him in the Fire Dojo and click on Challenge Sensei.
There are two strategies that we found helpful when trying to defeat Sensei.
1. In your first ten or so rounds, always play the lowest card possible. This helps prolong your rounds and increase your odds of winning. Oftentimes in these situations, Sensei will play a card lower than you or tie with you.
2. When you are forced into playing an element, Sensei won't punish you as harshly as he would if you played a Power Card right off the bat. Use that to your advantage.
Overall, try to prolong the battle for as long as possible. Sensei seems to reward longer, strategic battles versus quick ones with all-or-nothing thinking.
After defeating Sensei, you will receive the Fire Gem and complete your training as a Fire Ninja. Congratulations!

Here's a successful game against Sensei where we applied both strategies. Note: While both methods don't work every turn due to the RNG nature of Card-Jitsu Fire, using them as often as possible still resulted in a win.
